Missions Profile
Trent Wheeler has been involved in mission work for 15 years. He served for 2 years teaching in the school of Preaching in New Zealand and working with the local congregation in Wainuiomata, N.Z. Trent has also worked with a number of small mission points in the United States along with doing campaign work in Central America.
At the present time Trent has focused his work in two primary areas: 1) The development of this website as a teaching and resource tool for congregations and missionaries around the world. 2) To continue helping congregations lead mission teams to Central America. This years campaign includes taking a medical mission team and construction team to the region of Choluteca, Honduras. Much of the work will be done in the rural mountain regions of that country.
In addition, Trent offers a series of workshops for local churches designed to help them set up small group studies for their communities. "For decades we have been going into the mission field and using benevolence as a means of opening the hearts and minds of people to the gospel. I remember a faithful gospel preacher telling me, "people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care." Part of the community studies program on this website is dedicated to that philosophy. How are we helping the current generation in the following areas:
Challenges facing their marriage. Teaching them sound, biblical financial principles. Being pro-active with our benevolence programs. Providing counseling and 12 step programs for those suffering with addiction.
For over half a century we have established mission hospitals, schools and humanitarian aid programs around the world while neglecting the opportunities available to us here at home. The world has changed and we face a tremendous challenge in our effort to carry the gospel to a lost and dying world.

We believe that only the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority in spiritual matters (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe that through the Bible God has given us all things that pertain to life and Godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
We have made every effort to insure that all the materials on this site honor this view of the Bible, but we encourage all students to study the scriptures for yourself as you make use of the Bible study materials on this web site.
